The two sat together and ate their meals, taking turns telling each other different things about Demon and Human world.
"Demon world sounds like the perfect blend of chaos and violence many of us have been longing for," Xerxes stated.
"You have a mini Demon World right here in Human World Xerxes. I wouldn't go getting any funny thoughts about going there. The King doesn't like trouble makers," Rector replied.
"You've met the King of Demon World??" Xerxes practically shouted.
Rector staying sitting and ate before replying.
"Yes. He is whole heartedly for maintaining peace between the worlds so much so that eh can never visit because his power would send Human World into chaos. Human World would become another Demon World."
"Very astute, Rector was it?" a voice sounded from behind Rector. "It seems you know the king persnally."
Rector chuckled nervously.
"I just got in trouble with him alot. I withstood many lectures from him and his generals." Rector stated.
"It will be interesting tos ee what the ruelr ahs taught you. You can look forward to seeing me in the sparring ring."
"And who are you?" Rector inquired.
"Name's Ire. I'll see you later tonight," the demoness replied adn then walked away.
Rector turned to Xerxes and chuckled.
"Please tell me that wasn't one of those fangirls you warned me about?" Rector inquired towards Xerxes.
"I won't tell you then," Xerxes replied.
Rector sighed.
"I don't want to spar with anyone. I don't like revealing myself to others. Bad things happen."
"Sounds interesting though," Xerxes replied.
"I'm a bit of a rare case Xerxes. I don't want to get myself noticed."
"Too late for that man. Good luck tonight though. Everyone will be watching."
Rector sighed once more before finishing his meal in silence. Once finished he made his way to the dorm he was given. He laid down on his bed, worried about the night to come.
When the time was nearing for night classes, Rector made hsi way to the gymnasium.
"Sparring match tonight everyone! I hope you all have been practicing hard," the coach announced.
"Great," Rector mumbled aloud. "This just aint my day."
The Instruct heard him and called him forward.
"Name and class with limiters?" she questioned.
"Rector, rank E with limiters" Rector stated in a normal tone.
He was embarassed to admit that his rank was so low. It was the one downside to coming to human world.
"I understand you already have a match set up with Ire. Let's see what you've got. She's A class without her limiters. This match will be over quick. Take off your limiter and get ready and try not to get killed."
Rector sighed before whining. "I don't want to fight anyone though!"
"Tough! Ire, ready?" the coach responded.
"Ready ma'am," Ire replied.
Rector turned to see a demoness emitting an A rank aura of energy. he then pulled off his collar.
"Begin!" the coach announced.
As soon as she heard the word, Ire launched herself towards Rector. He managed to dodge her straight punch with a smirk, frustrating her.
"You need to calm down Ire. A level heaad wins battles quicker than brute force."
Ire smirked ashs eh turned demon. Before Rector stood a female panther demon. He then noticed her claws. Around them swarmed bolts of electricity.
"I'm gonna fry you to a crisp. There's no way I can lose to a D rank loser!"
She charged again. This time even if her attacks came too close he would at least be electrocuted.
This time Rector barely dodged and his hair stood on end from her electricity coming so close. He grabbed her hands and spun, throwing her off balance away from him.
Ire managed to regian her footing quickly adn turned to see Rector staying away from her with a smirk on his face and his arms crossed over his chest.
"Afraid to follow up there new kid?" she questioned aloud.
"Not at all Ire. I'm waiting to see if you heed my advice or if you'll continue to act like an F class."
She roared in anger as she charged him once again, upping her voltage.
Rector dodged again, the electricity not really affecting him. He cotninued to dodge her attacks until she tried a kick to his ribs. He held on for dear life to her leg so he wouldn't go flying from the force of her kick. Once he gained footing he attempted to conjure water out of his hands. The water climbed from her leg upward and she took advantage, shocking Rector as he held onto her.
She let out a roar again bu thtis time it was a roar of pain. Rector had let go and staggered from the electric attack. She looked over at him.
"What did you do?" she questioned.
"Simply put, I got you wet. Whater conducts electricity so now whenever you conduct electricity through that leg, you'll get shocked as well," he explained.
The student body looked on wide-eyed. How was a rank D holding their own against an A class? Even the coach was aghast.
Recot was out of breath nwo though. He wouldn't be able to move as quickly thanks to the paralysis.
Ire chargeda nd this time Rector couldn't dodge. He managed to knock one clawed hand away before the other connected, sinking her claws into hsi stomach, shocking him, and sending him flying back into the cement wall.
The fight was over. She ahd won. She let out a triumphant roar as she turned to face her classmates who all looked disappointed.
The coach turned and approached Rector who was slumped over on the floor against the wall.
"You did a helluva lot better than any of us expected Rector. If you practice hard you could be one f our best."
With that Rector passed out. The coach looked towards the bleachers.
"Xerxes, you and he are friends. Take him to the infirmary," she demanded.
"Yes ma'am. As you wish," he rplied as eh made his way down the bleachers towards Rector.
He picked up Rector and carried him to the infirmary. Everyone wathced until the two of them were out fo the room. Then the matches continued.
