"Your highness..." a female demon announced her presence.
The demonic ruler shifted his gaze towards her with an apathetic expression on his face.
"What is it? What do you want Sora?" he replied in a deep, growling voice.
"It seems another group of mortals has stumbled into our domain. So far they all remain intact in a gorup but who knows how long their unity will last," she replied.
He let out a sigh before responding to her and rose from his throne.
"I shall see to them. Keep an eye on the others for me while I am away," he commanded as he made his way past her and out of the throne room.
"As you wish Lord Raizen," she stated with a bow.
With that taken care of, the demon made hsi way by scent to the group of humans. When he arrived at the scene, they seemed fearful of him at first. He had made sure to appear as a human before approaching them.
"Everyone relax! I mean you no harm! I am here to help you all get home! You have stumbled onto private property so I must escort you to safety!"
He made his way through the crowd towards the portal where an overpowering scent of humans was emanating.
"Everyone stay close to me. Don't want ot leave anyone behind!"
Once on the other side of the portal, the opening closed before he could jump back through. He sighed before the humans spoke up.
"Thank you for your help. How can we help you in thanks?"
"It is obvious to you by now that I am non-human. Do you know a location where I can stay that is demon-friendly?"
The humans smiled before answering him.
"You could try the school in town? There are many young demons and demonesses there. You might find it entertaining."
The king smiled towards the mortal before replying.
"I greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you."
After finishing his expression of gratitude, Raizen made his way to the school. He walked inside to inspect the building and facilities. He was stopped just inside the door before he could begin. In front of him were students making their way through the corridors in much different garb than his own. He looked to his right to see what appeared to be some type of reception area. He made his way into the room and to the counter with a smirk on his face.
"I'd like to register for classes if thta is possible?"
The female bhind the desk looked up at him from her current task with a smile.
"Please have a seat while I get the paperwork ready," she stated while pointing at an empty set of chairs against one wall of the office.
Ten minutes later, the principal came out with the demoness. He had a convincing human form but Rector could smell that he was a demon. The principal spoke after Rector stood from his seat with a smile.
"Please answer every quesstion honestly on the paperwork. In addition to the information you give us you will be required to wear one of these."
The principal displayed what appeared to be a dog collar. Rector stared for a moment before the principal explained.
"It is a limiter collar for student use during day classes. your classes will begin tomorrow once you finish the paperwork. Once you finish, feel free to take a look around at our facilities."
Rector nodded before beginning to fill out the paperwork. He hesitated at the first question which asked for his full name. He thought for a few moments before filling in a last name he went by a millenia ago. The rest of the paperwork was easy to fill out without having to reveal his true identity. He simply checked other when he had to disclose what type of demon he was.
After the paperwork was finished, Rector handed it back to the demoness and picked up the restraint collar. He put it on and smiled at the two faculty members.
"Your powers will grow with time and practice if you stay here Rector. Please take full advantage of your time here and train to your heart's content.
Rector smiled at the two of them.
"I should only be D class with the limiters I have already. Do I really need to wear this thing?"
"Yes Rector. You must wear it to assist you in hiding your presence from other students and faculty as well as to maintain the illusion of your human form."
"I'm fresh from demon world so I was hoping that I would be stronger than demons born in mortal world," Rector commented. "How restrictive will this model be?"
"If you were D class before you are now down to E class," the receptionist stated.
Then the principal noted the tribal type tattoos on Rector's chest.
Rector smiled once again towards the two when he saw what they were looking towards. "You like them? They're some old demonic energy restricters I had put on once I finished my training in demon world."
The principal spoke up. "Are you saying you have ancient demonic limiters all over your body as well as the school limiter on now?"
"Yup. Ever since I finished my training in demon world. They're more archaic than your collars though. Anyway this one seems to be standing up fine so if it's possible, I would like to inspect the facilities?"
The receptionist and principal snapped themseles back to composure before smiling and sending for a student to give him the tour.
"Greetings, I'm Xerxes. I'm at the B class level and I will be showing you around today. If you have any questions please just ask away."
"Nice to meet you Xerxes. My name is Rector. It seems with the limiters I am a few classes below yours. I'll catch up quickly enough though."
Before Rector stood a young male approximately the same height as he was. The only non-human thing about this boy was two small horns that were poking out through the bangs of his hair.
Xerxes smirked as he began to lead Rector through the halls.
"Anyway let's begin the tour. You were just in the main office and most of these doors that we're passing lead to classrooms. Some are just faculty and janitor closets. Neither of those are utilized by us students."
"Understood so far Xerxes. I do have one question though. Are all of these students non-humans?"
Xerxes nodded his head from side-to-side.
"No. The humans come here during the day and wear collars to mask their scent."
Rector nodded as Xerxes explained.
"Makes sense. Promoting mortal, non-human relations. Looks like I'm lucky though. I don't have to come in until nighttime so I miss the dull day classes."
Xerxes smirked at Rector as he spoke.
"Ya know what the best part of night classes is?" Xerxes asked excitedly.
"No. What's the best part of night classes?" Rector responded.
"No limiters and since there's no humans then, we can reveal our demonic forms."
Rector chuckled nervously.
"I don't think I'll be revealing my demonic side any time soon so I hope noone had their hopes up," Rector replied.
Xerxes sighed before speaking.
"The rumors about the new kid have already started. Of course you'll be disappointing quite a few of your classmates."
"Tis a shame but I vowed not to reveal my demonic form unless it meant life or death."
The demonic ruler shifted his gaze towards her with an apathetic expression on his face.
