The two saiyans smirked towards each other while standing yards away. They were both standing outside the village limits on New Namek.
Gigan powered up to his maximum level while Koto stood relaxed and waited for Gigan's assault. Gigan charged at high speed towards Koto. Koto disappeared after Gigan and the next moment Gigan was skidding across the ground. He came to rest yards away from Koto and he stayed awake long enough to see Koto approaching him and to feel himself being lifted and carried.
Gigan dreamed of the "fight" and when he woke up, he was in one of the aliens' huts.
"So you're awake?" Koto questioned.
"Yeah," Gigan replied. "What happened?"
"You were too slow. I clothes-lined you and you went flying. You need more training. You should ask for some help from the natives."
Gigan rubbed his neck and stood from the bed slowly.
"My neck is killing me," Gigan commented.
Koto chuckled.
"You're a saiyan. You'll heal quick." Koto stood as well. "I'm going to talk with the elder of these people to have him unlock the potential of a few of his select warriors that way you can train against them until you're stronger."

Gigan smirked.
"I've been training against them for months already. You really think that this elder of theirs can really make them tough enough to train me to be strong enough to give you a good fight?" Gigan questioned.
Koto turned back to him as he stepped into the doorway and opened the door.
"Not strong enough to beat me but you'll definitely get stronger than you are now if you face a few of them and get stronger from sparring against them," Koto replied. "Relax and feel better. I'll be back in a couple of hours. Take another nap if ya like."
Koto chuckled before taking off and began his flight to the elders. As he made his way, Gigan started stretching and warming up for the ensuing sparring matches. If these namekians would be as strong as Koto was making them sound, he would need to be in top form to be able to fend them off.
Koto managed to make it to the elder's residence and landed outside. He knocked before entering and a younger namekian of the same height as him answered the door.
"Yes? What is the purpose of your visit?" he asked.
Koto replied, "I'm the saiyan that's training the younger one of my kind. He's the one that's been fighting the local warriors. He's plateaued and I was wondering if the Elder could unlock a few of their potentials to give him more of a challenge so he gets stronger."
The young namekian stepped out and smiled at the saiyan. He bowed at the waist before signalling for Koto to follow him inside.
"Elder, one of the saiyans is here to ask a favor of you. His companion seeks strength and needs sparring partners that give him a challenge. In other words, this saiyan requests that you unlock the potential of the warriors his companion has been training against," the young namekian announced.
The elder was a large namekian that sat in a throne like seat. As his title emplies he is the eldest of the namekians and his life is linked to that of the namekian dragonballs and the dragon himself.
"Your companions seeks strength to defeat you does he not?" the elder inquired from Koto.
Koto stepped forward and gave a slight bow at the waist.
"That is correct Elder. So as your young friend here stated He needs stronger partners than the ones he is training against now."
The elder sat silently for a few moments before speaking again.
"Unfortunately I do not have the strength to unlock that many potentials," the elder stated.
Koto sighed in disappointment.
"I understand Elder. Sorry for bothering you," Koto replied.
Just as Koto turned to leave the elder spoke again.
"Wait young warrior. I may not have the strength at the moment to unlock any more potentials but there is one fighter here that can give your friend a run for his money. He is far stronger than the three your friend has been fighting even with their potentials unlocked. He can be sent to train with your friend."
Koto spun around quickly and smiled. He bowed once more to the elder before speaking.
"Thank you very much Elder. My friend and I anxiously await his arrival."
At those words the elder smiled and turned to the young namekian that had led Koto inside.
"Denari, you may go. Train the young saiyan until he is as strong as you, if not stronger. If need be, you may help him spar against Koto here as well. You have one year to finish and return. Good luck my son."
"Thank you elder. I shall do my best," Denari replied before walking out with Koto and flying off back to the village.

When the namekian and saiyan warrior arrived together in the village, the villagers took notice. They knew something mut be happening if the planet's strongest warrior was consorting with the aliens.
Denari looked around before questioning Koto.
"Is this really the area that I'll be fighting your friend in? Isn't it a little bit crowded?"
Koto smirked before responding.
"The entire planet is your battleground. This is just the resting place."
With that Koto stepped inside one of the homes of the namekians and emerged a few moments later with Gigan behind.
"Gigan, this is Denari. He will be your sparring partner. From what I sense and what I have been told he is very strong. You'll have your work cut out for you training against him," Koto stated.
Denari stuck out a green hand to Gigan.
"A pleasure I'm sure," Denari greeted.
Gigan stuck out his hand and shook that of the namekian warrior.
"No insult intended but I'm not known for my patience. If you're here to be my sparring partner then let's get started."
Koto smiled at Denari.
"He may seem coarse but his impatience grows on you Denari."
Denari smirked as he walked a few yards away from the village as Gigan followed. Once the two were a safe distance, they took their stances. Koto crossed his arms and smirked as he had the two begin their sparring.
It was apparent from the first move that Denari was a strong warrior, far more skilled than the rest of the namekians. Throughout their months of training matches, Denari was superior to Gigan but Gigan was closing the gap and by the end of the year, they were both evenly matched when they sparred. Their fights went from lasting to seconds, to lasting for a day's length.

Koto wasn't suprised by Gigan's advancement but was pleased. As a fellow saiyan he knew that every time Gigan was beaten down and healed, that he would come back stronger than before.
The last day that Denari was allowed to train before returning to the elder, Koto took a stance between Denari and Gigan.
"I won't transform. I want the two of you to come at me as a team. Perhaps, if your teamwork is good enough, you might be able to give me some exercise."
Koto smirked and stood with a wide stance and with his arms at his sides between the two fighters.
"For a warm up, how about the two of you launch your most powerful ki attacks at me at once?"
Denari and Gigan both gaped at Koto. What was he asking? Was he suicidal? Gigan knew firsthand and Denari could sense that Koto was a powerful warrior but they knew that the two of them had grown stronger in the year of training and they didn't want to kill him.
Koto chuckled confidantly.
"You're not going to even injure me if you combine your strengths so you better not hold back. Give it all you got!" Koto announced before igniting a white aura of energy around his body. He stuck out a hand in either direction and awaited the two blasts he knew would be coming.
Gigan and Denari smirked and nodded to each other before disappearing and reappearing in front of Koto and launching two of their most powerful ki blasts. The blasts sent Koto flying and the two warriors flew rapidly over to where they saw him land. The pile of rubble was still for a few moments before they could hear a rumble and jumped back. The rubble flew in multiple directions as Koto's aura destructed and he stood before the two of them. His only wound was torn clothing as he dusted himself off.
He looked up and smiled at the two of them.
"Not bad guys. You two have gotten really good."
The two gaped again at the saiyan standing before them.
"H....how? That was our best attacks. You are unscathed. I...impossible."
Koto chuckled at Denari.
"You forget Denari that a skilled warrior can hide their true strength until they need it. I couldn't possibly give you each an exact number but I'd say combined your attacks reached a power level of at least 160,000." Koto replied.
"So you're saying your power level is even higher??" Gigan replied.
Koto smiled towards Gigan.
"Of course. Let me think. The last time I had myself measured I believe my maximum power level in this form was 480,000 and I know I've gotten stronger since then," Koto replied.
The two warriors' eyes gaped wider at the fighter standing before them.
"O......over four.....four hundred eighty thousand?"
Koto began approaching them and heading back towards the village.
"Yup, that was like two years ago though. Let's head back to the village now. I need a new set of clothes."
The two stood in amazement for a moment before nodding to each other and attempting a second strike on Koto. When the smoke cleared there was nothing of him left. The searched around, not thinking to look high up into the namekian sky.
"Oh my God! We killed him! We should have held back!"
Koto held back laughter as he watched them panic. After a while of searching and not seeing anything, the two flew back towards the village. Koto managed to outfly them to the house where they were staying. When he saw the older namekian inside he requested that he play along with the joke he was about the play.
When the two walked inside and saw him, Gigan rushed forward and hugged Koto. Denari fell backwards onto his rear in the doorway.
"We thought you were dead!?" Gigan yelled.
Koto chuckled.
"You two tried to be sneaky after I just finished giving you the whole speech about how much stronger I am than you combined. Did you really think you could kill me with those attacks? If you would have kept a calm mind about you you would have sensed me floating up in the sky above you."

"If that's the case then I'm gonna have to train alot harder to defeat you Koto. I'd need to get at least three times as strong in order to push you at all." Gigan stated.
Koto smiled at Gigan.
"You'd need to get at least four times stronger to come close Gig. That will take years of training. For now, let's head back to the Sanctuary. The training facility there will help you get stronger than you could here."
Koto then turned to Denari.
"Make sure you tell the elder I am inviting you to come train with us whenever you like. You just have to power up enough that I'd sense you. I can get here within seconds and pick you up. In the mean time you should return to the elder's side. It was a pleasure training with you Denari."
Koto turned back towards Gigan and signalled him to approach. Once he was close enough Koto rested a hand on him and then the two disappeared. Seconds later they reappeared on the grounds of the Sanctuary.
"Do as you like Gigan. You know where the training facilities are. In the mean time I'm going to catch up on what the place has been like in my absence."
Gigan nodded before excitedly running off towards the training grounds to get stronger. He would need to get alot stronger in order to be more of a challenge for Koto the next time they would spar.
Meanwhile Koto surveyed the grounds and the perimeter to see if any damage had been done to his property by the non-human hating people that lived in the surrounding area.
