Nobunaga quietly paced through the streets of the town. He kept to himself, not bothering to talk to anyone he didn't know unless he was spoken to first of course. He may be demonic now but that was no excuse to be ignorant of formalities. He hated rude people anyway.
Standing at six foot he was above average height and he had a decent build to him. He had a nodachi fasted to his cloth belt that he left apparent incase anyone decided to label him a normal tourist and decided to mess with him.
"This town is certainly bustling with people." he spoke to himself. "I'm getting somewhat bored of all this normalcy though. Perhaps I should visit a demonic village or some non-human area to have a little fun after this place."
He smirked at the thought of an entire village of demons daring to attack him. He imagined taking a large group of them out with a single swing and the smirk widened into almost an evil grin.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm on it!" Emi called from the front door of the small paranormal magazine building. She sighed dramatically and walked away from the door before they could pull her in and demand more pictures sooner than they should. She already had several 'missions' to do before the end of the week and she knew she wouldn't get them done if she goofed off anymore.
Obviously coming to the building had been a mistake this morning. Before coming she'd only had two locations to check out, now she had six. She looked down at her poor overworked Polaroid camera, a vintage one considering they didn't make them like that anymore.
Her train of thought jumped off track as she bumped into someone causing her to drop her camera. Upon fall on the ground upside-down, the camera flashed and took a good picture of whoever she bumped into. "Hey! Watch where you're going, buddy!" She growled, leaning over to grab her equipment.

Nobunaga stared down at her with a slightly annoyed expression on his face. His eyes took a moment to adjust after the flash. He picked up her camera in one hand and offered her the other without saying a word. He was hoping not to get too involved with anyone in the town unless it was a fight. Now she had his picture and he was going to be noticed for sure.
He knew that he stuck out like a sore thumb. There weren't any old fashioned samurai anymore. The ones today were more than likely self-proclaimed swordsmen which meant about as much as a water gun in a shoot out to him. He had managed to learn some things from returning from the dead but he was still unaccustomed to many things, especially when it came to technology.
He kept his hand stretched out for her to accept. He stared at the camera in his hands as he did so. He moved his finger to get a better grip on the object and accidentally flashed himself again.

She looked up, ready to slap whoever just picked up her camera, but stopped. The man in front of her looked annoyed, which kind of hurt her feelings. After all... she didn't mean to bump into him. Ignoring the sudden hurt, she accepted the hand and stood.
She bent down to pick up the two pictures which had dropped on the ground. "Ha ha." She laughed slightly. "It seems my camera is rather fond of you." She replied looking at him with a smile. She reached out a hand motioning to her camera.
"Um... you're not from around here, are you?"

His expression lightened slightly. He didn't want to scare her or anyone else off for that matter.
"No." he stated simply.
He handed her back her camera. He looked her over for a moment before questioning her.
"How could you tell?" he smirked.

She continued smiling, fanning the pictures so they would clear up. She shifted her head to the side to look the other over carefully.
"Oh... well, this is a small town and I've been all around it... and I haven't seen you before." She nodded at her own sentence as though she was still figuring it all out.
"And plus... you seem a little withdrawn, I've never met anyone who wasn't open. But you're not open..." She pondered aloud. "Oh, I'm sorry... I'm contemplating too much. How are you liking the city so far?" She questioned, not giving him any time to respond to her earlier thoughts.

He folded his arms and kept his attention focused on her.
"It is in a way dull to me. Nothing seems to happen here." he spoke to her. "Other than that it is fine. I must say I'm not used to all of this technology though."

She nodded and shrugged.
"Well... you can tell I'm not into a lot of technology because I use an old camera model..." She held up the camera as emphasis. It was a pretty old camera, worn from use.
"So tell me... have you been to any haunted houses?" She smirked, raising an eyebrow.

He couldn't resist chuckling.
"You could say that." he stated. "How about you?"
He looked at her camera. It did indeed seem to be worn from use.
"That is a camera? It's so small." he stated out of surprise. "How do they fit the flash powder in this little thing?"

She grinned mischievously. "Ohhhh, I have to go and visit a few today to take pictures."
She looked down at the camera and blinked once. Twice. "Um... nobody uses flash powder anymore." She glanced at him.
"Wow... you must be really behind in times - Oops! I'm sorry I mean no harm by that!" She waved her hands in front of her defensively.

He looked at the camera once more and then at her.
"Are you asking me to come along for protection?" he questioned with a smirk on his face.

She laughed with an almost catlike expression on her face. Protection? No, she'd never needed protection before, why now?
"Well... I suppose you could. I don't need it, however... I would enjoy the companionship. I get lonely by my self all the time." She replied, her pointer and thumb on her chin thoughtfully.

He gestured a hand out to his side, signalling for her to lead the way.
"After you then. I don't know where we're going." he stated.

She grinned devilishly and walked past him. She slipped her camera around her neck by the black strap attached to it.
The haunted house wasn't too far away - the first one anyway. The others required more... extravagant means of transportation. "So tell me, where did you come from?" She questioned, making small talk.

"Well a long time ago when my mother and father met each other, they fell in love....."
He smirked and stopped himself. He knew that was not what she meant.
"Let's say the far South." he stated with a smirk on his face.
He followed her as she stepped ahead of him.

She covered her mouth and laughed loudly.
"Nice. So you can tell jokes too?" She smirked, not turning to him.
"Hmmm, how funny. I'm from the North." She replied. Slowly they made their way to her first location, which wasn't really haunted... She didn't think so anyway.

He followed her closely. If the place was truly haunted he would want someone close by to see if something was going to pop out of nowhere. He was the Lord of Demons alright. He still didn't like shocking surprises.
"So is this place really haunted? Are there any substantiated reports of haunting?" he questioned.

Emi stopped in her tracks and finally turned to face him. She had her hands on her hips in mock annoyance.
"No." She deadpanned. "I don't know why I'm even coming here to take photos. But I'm being paid for it, so I may as well check it out." She finished with a shake of her head.

"Make's sense. As long as you are getting a paycheck. I imagine there are worse jobs." he stated.
He looked around at the house. It looked older most definitely and was larger than average but that didn't mean that it was definitely haunted.
